Finished from the factory in Tangerine (6809), the car was repainted in 2019 following dent removal and rust repairs by D.C. Racing of Irving, Texas. Exterior details include a stainless-steel targa bar, a removable black roof panel, a zip-down rear window, and a single polished exhaust outlet. A 2021 service record provided in the gallery below states that the targa bar seal is missing.

The 15” Fuchs alloy wheels feature black insets and are mounted with Falken tires, while a full-size spare is stowed in the front storage area. Braking is via four-wheel discs, and work performed in 2019 included overhauling the brake calipers and replacing the wheel bearings, front and rear control arm bushings, and brake lines. The parking brake was repaired in 2021, at which time an alignment was performed and replacement CV joint boots and front strut inserts were installed. Turbo-style tie rods have been fitted, and noted flaws include incorrectly installed steering rack boots, a torn driver-side boot, a leaking left-rear shock absorber, and a missing front brake pad anti-rattle clip.
The cabin houses front seats that were reupholstered in black vinyl in 2020 and are complemented by a color-coordinated dash, door panels, and fold-down rear seats. Replacement gray carpets were also under previous ownership. Amenities include a heater, front quarter vent windows, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio. A hole on top of the driver’s seat is reported.
A four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that includes a centrally mounted 8k-rpm tachometer along with an analog clock and auxiliary gauges. The 150-mph speedometer does not work, though the seller states that the five-digit odometer is functional and shows 77k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.0-liter flat-six is topped with dual Weber carburetors that were overhauled in 2021. Additional work at that time included replacing the fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel lines. A service record in the gallery reports that the engine mounts are collapsed, debris is present in the fuel tank, the hand throttle is inoperable, and leaks are present from the timing chain and camshaft housings. The cooling fan has been painted orange.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle. Rust repairs were performed on the jack points, rocker panels, and torsion tube in 2020, and a 2021 service record notes evidence of these repairs as well as an incorrect clutch cable. Additional underbody images are provided in the gallery below.
