The car left the factory finished in Irish Green (15), and exterior details include a black Targa roof panel, front and rear bumperettes, Bosch European-specification headlights, fog lights, “S” trim, and a left side mirror. The roof panel was refurbished during current ownership, the right quarter panel and engine cover were repaired and refinished in 2014, and the Targa top and door weather seals were replaced in 2020. Cosmetic flaws include a dent on the left door, pitting bright trim, a corroded paint chip on the right quarter panel, and scuffs on the front bumper and front trunk lid. Photos of paint meter readings are shown in the gallery below.

Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features replacement RS-style front seats upholstered in black vinyl and patterned cloth inserts along with black trim and door panels that were refurbished. Work in 2020 included replacing the shifter bushings and installing a Stomski shift coupler.
A four-spoke refurbished steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and supplemental instrumentation in a pair of combination gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 11k miles, of which approximately 8k were added during current ownership. The clock is nonfunctional, and total mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 2.2-liter flat-six features Bosch mechanical fuel injection, and the top end was overhauled in 2013 by TLG Porsche Service of North Hollywood, California. Additional work in 2014 included rebuilding the throttle bodies and distributor, tuning the fuel injection system, and replacing the fuel sender unit, voltage regulator, and engine mounts. Oil and fuel leaks were repaired in December 2022, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. Corrosion can be seen on the underside of the hood. Photos of compression test readings are displayed in the gallery.
Engine stamping 6200777 is shown above and matches the number listed on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 901 five-speed manual transaxle. Service in October 2020 included replacing the clutch, pressure plate, and release bearings. SSI exhaust manifold heat exchangers were also installed at that time. The seller states the second-gear synchro is worn.
