The LeBaron-built body on this example is finished in green with light green pinstripes and “R.I.W.” and “S.S.W” monograms on the front doors. Other exterior appointments include chrome bumpers with overriders, Trippe driving lamps, turn signals, a hood ornament, a tan soft top, detachable B-pillars, and a Beals & Selkirk external trunk. A CCCA National First Prize plaque is mounted on the right side of the cowl. Areas of paint loss and cracking can be seen in the gallery.
The body-color artillery-style wheels wear chrome hubcaps and trim rings, and they are mounted with 7.50–17 BFGoodrich Silvertown bias-ply whitewall tires. The Model K rode on a 145″ wheelbase and featured front and rear leaf springs. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel mechanical drums. A service of the braking system is recommended by the seller.
The cabin features front and rear benches trimmed in green leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Split seams and other imperfections in the upholstery and carpet can be viewed in the gallery.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a painted steel dashboard housing a 100-mph speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. A Stewart-Warner water temperature gauge is mounted below the dash. The five-digit odometer shows under 84k miles, approximately 3,500 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 414ci V12 was revised for 1937 with hydraulic valve lifters, and output was rated at 150 horsepower at 3,800 rpm. The seller notes that the engine overheats intermittently, and moisture on the bottom of the engine can be seen in the gallery.
