The seller states that the truck was refinished in Eastwood Sunset Metallic Orange during the aforementioned refurbishment, and was reportedly mounted on a replacement frame. Exterior features include shaved door handles, widened R&R Fiberglass rear fenders, a wood-lined bed, cowl-mounted mirrors, chrome bumpers, black tailgate chain covers, and LED taillights.
Chrome-finished 15″ American Racing wheels are mounted with a mix of Cooper Cobra and Centennial Interceptor tires. The truck is equipped with a Mustang II-style independent front suspension kit with adjustable coilovers, a Mustang-sourced power-steering rack, rear air helper springs, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features Volvo-sourced bucket seats upholstered in black as well as matching door panels and carpets. Equipment includes a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer digital media receiver, a Speedway power window kit, a heater, rubber floor mats, and an armrest with a cupholder. Wear is visible on the seats.
The aftermarket steering wheel fronts a 90-mph speedometer and a combination gauge with replacement readouts, while a Sun tachometer is mounted beneath the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 14k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 is said to have been sourced from a 1980 Chevrolet and bored over 0.030″ during a rebuild with replacement pistons and a Summit Racing camshaft. Additional work reportedly included rebuilding the cylinder heads and replacing the valve springs, main bearings, connecting rod bearings, and camshaft bearings. An aluminum radiator is also installed along with an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a 9″ rear axle with 3.50:1 gears. The truck is equipped with a fuel tank sourced from a 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo as well as side-exiting Jinsanity Performance exhaust tips.
