Deriving its styling from the Orleans and Park Avenue Motorama concepts of 1953 and 1954, the Brougham was hand-assembled by Cadillac and retailed for $13,074 when new. This example is finished in Ebony Black (110) and features quad headlights, “Dagmar” bumper guards, a brushed stainless steel pillarless roof, and rear coach doors. The power-retractable antenna and power-assisted trunk lid were repaired under the selling dealer’s ownership.

The power-retractable antenna and power-assisted trunk lid were repaired under the selling dealer’s ownership.
The Kelsey-Hayes forged aluminum wheels are mounted with 8.40/8.20–15 US Royal bias-ply tires. A matching spare wheel and tire are stowed under a cover in the trunk. The Eldorado Brougham rode on a 126″ wheelbase and was delivered from the factory with an air suspension that was rebuilt under the selling dealer’s ownership. Power-assisted drum brakes are fitted at all four corners, and replacement rear brake cylinders were installed in 2021.
The cabin features twin bench seats trimmed in white leather with black accents and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, power-operated windows and seats, an Autronic Eye headlight dimmer, and a transistorized radio. A replacement high-beam switch was installed in 2021. Loose stitching on the front bench seat bottom can be seen in the gallery. The factory magnetic drink tumbler set is missing.
The two-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring frames a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, generator charging status, and fuel level. A replacement speedometer cable was installed in 2021. The five-digit odometer shows just over 6k miles, approximately 50 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 365ci V8 features dual four-barrel carburetors underneath a gold “batwing” air cleaner and was rated at 325 horsepower when new. Service performed under the selling dealer’s ownership included the installation of a replacement water pump, spark plugs, freeze plugs, valve cover gaskets, belts, and an overhaul of the heater core.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission that was rebuilt in November 2021. A new fuel hose and tank vent hose were installed in 2020, and replacement fuel lines were fitted the following year. Corrosion near the battery in the trunk is said to have been addressed under current ownership.
