The cabin features bucket seats reupholstered in black vinyl with channeled inserts joined by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Equipment includes a dashboard-mounted mirror, a heater and defroster, a factory analog clock, and a Wonder Bar radio. Material is loose on the left door panel below the armrest.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a sweeping 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery charge, and oil pressure. The fuel level gauge is said to have been replaced in 2022. The odometer has shifted in its housing and the left digit is no longer visible. Total mileage is unknown.
The 283ci V8 was factory rated at 270 horsepower and features a high-lift camshaft and dual Carter four-barrel carburetors. The fuel tank, fuel pump, and fuel filter are said to have been replaced in May 2022.
An engine stamp is shown above. The CU suffix is consistent with a 283ci V8 rated at 270 horsepower and designated for a 1958 Corvette with two four-barrel carburetors, a high-lift camshaft, and a manual transmission.
