A two-spoke steering wheel frames a VDO 80-mph speedometer that displays suggested shift points. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 7k miles, of which approximately 1k were added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
Dual swing-out doors on the right side of the bus provide access to two rear bench seats with grab handles and kick panels.
The air-cooled dual-port 1.6L flat-four is said to have been installed during the refurbishment in 2004. Features include a single carburetor, a Brosol fuel pump, and a Bosch ignition coil. A 12-volt electrical system is fitted, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. The seller reports corrosion is present on the right side of the engine compartment.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle that was overhauled in 2008. Corrosion can be seen on exhaust components.
