The cabin features front bucket seats, a rear bench, and door panels trimmed in multicolor vinyl along with black carpets. Bright metal trim adorns the dash, and the Hurst shifter is topped by a cue-ball knob.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a sweeping 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges, while a 7k-rpm tachometer and manifold pressure gauge are mounted in the center of the dash along with a trio of Auto Gage instruments. The five-digit odometer shows 47k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
According to the seller, the replacement V8 engine was rebuilt under prior ownership utilizing a block and cylinder heads sourced from a 1962 Super Duty model, and displacement is calculated at 433ci after boring the cylinders and installing oversized pistons. Additional components and specifications are outlined in documents presented in the gallery. Twin Weber four-barrel carburetors are currently fitted along with finned aluminum valve covers, an aluminum radiator, and a fire suppression system. The selling dealer notes that the engine runs rich, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Stampings on the engine block are shown above. The 13U suffix corresponds with a 421ci Super Duty V8 produced for manual-transmission applications.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission linked with a Dynotech driveshaft and a limited-slip rear differential, the gear oil for which was replaced in February 2023. The dual exhaust system features long-tube headers as well as covered cutouts under the firewall.
