During the build, the car was repainted in Lexus Jade Mica and Silver Jade Pearl with Lamborghini orange pinstriping is mimicked in the door jambs, trunk, and engine compartment. Custom triple VentiPorts and Special badges adorn the front fenders, the front valance has sculpted air intakes for the intercooler, and dual exhaust outlets exit through the customized rear valance. The bumpers have been smoothed and tucked, the windshield wipers have been removed, and a brushed fuel filler has been installed on the left-rear quarter panel.
The car rides on an Art Morrison chassis with polished stainless-steel tubular control arms up front, a chrome-plated four-link rear end with a triangulated wishbone, and QA1 height-adjustable coilovers at all four corners.
The 17″ Budnik Arrowhead wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 235/40 up front and 335/35 out back. Baer/Alcon four-piston brake calipers have been installed at all four corners along with 13.5″ cross-drilled and slotted rotors, and the brake fluid was changed in 2023.
Bucket seats trimmed in green leather with an orange accent stripe have been installed, and Buick-logo embroidery accents the coordinated rear bench. Matching hand-stitched upholstery covers the custom roll cage, sueded material lines the roof, the side panels have been retrimmed with two-tone upholstery, and the cabin floor and trunk are lined with contrasting carpeting. A Vintage Air climate-control system was also installed along with a custom shifter surround housing an Alpine CD stereo that is linked to an Alpine sound system.
Custom paneling and upholstery extends to the trunk, where the Alpine amplifier and additional speakers are mounted along with the electrical fuse center and an Optima battery that the seller states was recently installed.
The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel is mounted on an Ididit column, and the customized dashboard wraps around the roll bar that has been tucked into the A-pillar profile. Carbon-fiber AutoMeter Ultra-Lite gauges consist of a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for fuel level, boost pressure, voltage, fuel pressure, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows just under 2,600 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The 455ci V8 is said to have been assembled by Bullet Custom Engines of Medford, Oregon, with forged JE pistons, a hydraulic roller camshaft, TA Performance Stage 2 Street Eliminator aluminum heads, a ProCharger F-1 supercharger, a 1,000cfm throttle body, 55lb/hr fuel injectors, and an Accel DFI engine management system. The intake plumbing, tubular headers, and exhaust system were fabricated by Ryan Butler Fabrication. The motor is claimed to produce 700 horsepower, and engine and supercharger oil changes were was performed in February 2023.
The Richmond six-speed manual transmission is linked to a Scribner-fabricated axle painted to match the body, and it is equipped with an aluminum Ford 9″ pumpkin, an Eaton Trac-Lok differential, and 3.55:1 gearing. The coated custom exhaust system runs through the cross members to maximize ground clearance.
The car was based upon a rendered color illustration by Justin Milburn, which is included in the sale along with three binders documenting the vehicle’s build, work receipts, two custom-embroidered jackets, and photographs.
The car appeared in the fourth, fifth, and sixth installments of the Gran Turismo video game series after it was selected by Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi for the GT award at the 2003 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
