The car was refinished in its current shade of metallic orange under previous ownership following replacement of floor panels and tubbing of the wheel wells. Additional work included removing the badging, filling the cowl vent, fitting a front spoiler, and finishing the bumpers, trim, and rear fascia in gunmetal gray.
Staggered-width 18″ multi-spoke wheels wear Nitto NT05 tires measuring 235/40 up front and 285/35 out back. The car is fitted with power-assisted steering, subframe connectors, an independent front suspension, a four-link rear suspension, and Ridetech coilovers. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with black-finished calipers over drilled and slotted rotors.
An interior refresh was performed by Pro Auto Custom Interiors of Knoxville, Tennessee, under previous ownership, and the cabin features modified front bucket seats that were reportedly sourced from a Pontiac Firebird and rear seats upholstered in two-tone gray leather with orange stitching. Appointments include lap belts, power windows, LED ambient lighting, a billet shift lever, carbon-look pedals, a leather-stitched transmission tunnel cover, air conditioning, and a Bluetooth-compatible stereo system.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Dakota Digital instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, supplementary gauges, and two digital screens. The digital odometer shows 2,100 miles, which is said to represent the mileage accumulated since the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown.
The trunk floor was refinished in gray carpeting and the side panels were upholstered in gray leather during the refurbishment. An amplifier enclosure sits below the trunk floor.
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 is said to have been sourced from a 1999 Pontiac Firebird and rebuilt by Texas Speed and Performance during the four-year refurbishment. The engine features tubular exhaust headers, an aluminum radiator, an open-element air intake, and a fabricated engine cover sourced from a Holden vehicle. Fluid services were performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a T56 six-speed manual transmission and a Ford 9″ rear axle. Underside components are finished in orange, and the car was fitted with an aluminum fuel tank and a dual exhaust system that exits before the rear axle. The selling dealer notes the transmission and differential fluids were flushed.
