The fiberglass body was finished in Ermine White from the factory and was repainted in black during the 2008 refurbishment. Features include a black convertible top, a removable black hardtop, a vented hood, finned rocker trim, fender vents, split chrome bumperettes, flip-up headlights, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear valance.
The 15″ steel wheels wear knock-off-style hubcaps and are wrapped in 205/75 BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial redline tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. This example features power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners.
The cabin is trimmed in black and has been fitted with sound deadening material as well as replacement carpet. The seats have been reupholstered, and interior accessories include air conditioning, an analog clock, a reverse lock-out shifter, lap belts, and a Delco push-button AM/FM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 3k miles, all of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci V8 was factory rated at 340 horsepower and features a four-barrel carburetor, finned valve covers, and a chrome air cleaner assembly and ignition cover.
The engine code and serial number are displayed on the stamping above.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The frame was stripped and repainted during the 2008 refurbishment.
