The 17″ American Racing wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes R888R tires measuring 275/40 up front and 315/35 out back. The suspension utilizes a 4″ tube frame chassis and C4 components as well as adjustable coilovers at all four corners. The car is equipped with power-assisted rack and pinion steering, and braking is handled by discs at all four corners.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl upholstery and features include a 1963-style dashboard, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a Hurst shifter, a rear snap-on tonneau cover, aluminum door panels, and Simpson four-point harnesses. There is no trunk floor and a yellow-top Optima battery is mounted in the rear cargo area.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to an Ididit tilting column and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 1,700 miles, approximately 400 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The aluminum 540ci Merlin V8 is said to have been installed around 2008 and features an Aviaid wet-sump lubrication system, a Holley 950-cfm carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, MSD electronic ignition components, Moroso valve covers, power-coated tubular exhaust headers, and CFE aluminum cylinder heads. An aluminum radiator with dual electric fans has been installed. An engine dynamometer sheet is shown in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission and a Dana 44 rear axle with 4.10:1 gears. A 21-gallon fuel cell and Dynotech aluminum half shafts are said to have been installed. Additional underbody images are shown in the gallery.
