Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes, and the car is said to be equipped with an aftermarket anti-sway bar in the front and a 356 Enterprises camber regulator in the rear.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leatherette and equipped with Simpson 4-point harnesses. Additional equipment includes manual-crank windows, door map pockets, a fresh air blower, and a Blaupunkt push-button radio. The headliner is torn, the clock does not work, and a tear is noted in the lower driver’s seat upholstery. A bolt-in rear roll bar will accompany the car.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames green-letter VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 84k miles, approximately 20k of which have been added under current ownership.
The Type 616/15 air-cooled flat-four is said to have been overbored to displace 1,750cc using sleeved cylinders. Dual Weber carburetors are topped with chrome air cleaners, and the car is equipped with a Bosch distributor and blue ignition coil.
The engine-case stamping reads P☆732135☆, which corresponds with the engine number noted on the statement of origin displayed below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The seller notes a leak from the transaxle case and states that European-specification heat exchangers are installed.
The statement of origin shows the original sale date in addition to the engine number and vehicle serial number.
