Chrome 15” ventilated steel wheels wear polished hubcaps and are mounted with 185/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin houses front bucket seats trimmed in beige upholstery along with a color-coordinated dash pad, rear seats, and door panels. The car is equipped with gray carpets, Coco mats, and an inoperable Blaupunkt push-button AM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel with a Porsche-crest horn button fronts VDO instrumentation that includes a central 7k-rpm tachometer, a 200-km/h speedometer, and a combination gauge. An auxiliary oil pressure gauge has been mounted below the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 58k kilometers (~36k miles), approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The seller notes that the horn, oil temperature gauge, and clock do not work.
The replacement 1.6-liter flat-four is equipped with dual Solex carburetors and SC-style Knecht air cleaners. A rear-mounted auxiliary oil filter has been installed along with a dual-outlet sport muffler. Service work in June 2021 carried out by 356 Coachworks included:
An invoice from 356 Coachworks showing additional work information and cost is viewable in the gallery. Additional service in February 2023 involved adjusting the carburetors and changing the oil.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
