Work under current ownership is said to have consisted of replacing the upper and lower control arm bushings, front and rear sway bar bushings, ball joints, rear spring rubber cushions, and tie rod ends, rebuilding the brake calipers, and installing the gold-line tires.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl upholstery that are joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a cabin heater, a reverse lock-out shifter, an analog clock, and lap belts.
The three-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, battery charge, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The fuel sending unit was reportedly replaced under current ownership. The five-digit odometer shows 96k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added under current ownership.
The 427ci L72 V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and an aluminum intake manifold. Factory-rated output 425 horsepower and 460 lb-ft when new. An oil change was performed within the last year. July 2023 compression test results are shown in the gallery.
