Chrome-finished 15″ steel wheels wear chrome covers and are wrapped in 165-width Michelin XAS tires displaying date codes from 2012. A full-size spare is stored in the front compartment. Bilstein dampers are fitted, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. Photos of date code stampings and pitting on the chrome wheels are shown in the image gallery below.
The cabin houses front bucket seats and folding rear seats that were reportedly reupholstered in black vinyl during the refurbishment. Appointments include front seat belts, wood dashboard trim, a dog-leg shifter, front and rear quarter vent windows, and a Grundig radio.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer, a 250-km/h speedometer, a clock, and combination gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 90k kilometers (~56k miles), of which approximately 6k kilometers were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 2.0-liter Type 901/05 flat-six was rebuilt during the refurbishment and is equipped with electronic ignition and dual three-barrel Weber carburetors. An oil change was performed in May 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual Type 902/1 transaxle that was refreshed as part of the refurbishment. The gearbox fluid was flushed in May 2021.
