The 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome hubcaps and trim rings and are wrapped in 215/70 Cooper Radial G/T tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and the car is equipped with front and rear Hotchkis sway bars. The springs, shocks, ball joints, and tie rod ends were reportedly replaced during prior ownership.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in blue vinyl with cloth inserts. Amenities include an aftermarket stereo, a heater, Chevelle-branded floor mats, lap belts, and a full length center console with a Hurst shifter. The analog clock is non-functional.
The SS-branded steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer flanked by auxiliary gauges displaying fuel level, battery charge, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. Aftermarket coolant temperature and oil pressure gauges are located centrally on the bottom of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 36k miles, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The replacement 427ci V8 was installed during prior ownership and is equipped with triple carburetors, Trick Flow cylinder heads, and a chrome air cleaner and valve covers. Hooker long tube headers feed a 3″ dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The seller states a tune-up and oil change were performed approximately 500 miles ago.
