The 16″ Budnik Gasser wheels are mounted with 225/60 Continental Extreme Contact tires which show 2021 date codes. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners.
The bucket seats were reupholstered in black leather, and additional equipment includes a reverse lock-out shifter, an analog clock, lap belts, rear-mounted Infinity speakers, and a Kenwood cassette stereo.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The trip odometer does not work. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 52k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added under current ownership.
The 327ci V8 was reportedly overbored, decked, honed, line-bored, and converted to four-bolt main caps in 1998 and is said to have been fitted with a Skagg forged stroker crankshaft, Comp Cams roller camshaft, double roller timing chain, flat-top pistons, H-beam connecting rods, ported cylinder heads, and lightweight valves, guides, springs and roller rockers. Additional equipment includes a Weiand X-Celerator intake manifold, a Holley 750-cfm carburetor, a PerTronix Flame Thrower ignition coil and electronic ignition, and tubular exhaust headers. Cooling is handled by a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Work in 2022 consisted of replacing the alternator and oil pan gasket and installing exhaust headers and a spin-on type oil filter system.
The engine code and serial number are displayed on the stamping above.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear axle. A dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers has been fitted, and the right rear hanger on the muffler is broken.
A spare set of Rally-style wheels, trim rings, and center caps are included in the sale along with a car cover, steering wheel, radio, fuel door, intake manifold, valve covers, and a differential with 3.36:1 gears.
