The fiberglass body left the factory finished in Marina Blue (976AA) and was refinished under prior ownership. Features include a white-striped stinger hood, a left mirror, split chrome bumpers, concealed headlights, fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear valance.
Silver-finished 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with 7.75-15″ Goodyear Power Cushion redline tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in white vinyl joined by a color-coordinated headliner and door panels. Details include air conditioning, an analog clock, power windows, blue carpeting, shoulder belts, Corvette-branded floor mats, and a Delco push-button AM/FM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for amperage, water temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 93k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.
The 427ci V8 was factory rated at 390 horsepower and features a four-barrel carburetor, an orange-finished engine block, intake manifold, and valve covers, and a chrome air cleaner assembly and ignition cover.
The engine block stamping pad is shown above.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission and a Positraction differential.
A car invoice document from Steakley Brothers Chevrolet of Dallas, Texas, shows factory equipment, colors, and a purchase date of June 6, 1967. A warranty book with a Protect-O-Plate and a Corvette Order Copy will also accompany the car.
Bloomington Gold Certified judging sheets and a 2018 NCRS Regional Top Flight award will accompany the sale in addition to associated judging sheets and an NCRS Shipping Data Report.
