The 17″ American Racing wheels wear spinner-style center caps and were mounted with Nitto NT555 G2 tires in March 2023. The car has been fitted with a power steering system, Varishock adjustable coilovers, tubular subframe connectors and front control arms, front and rear sway bars, and a triangulated four-link rear suspension. Braking is handled by Shelby-branded Baer calipers over drilled and slotted rotors.
The cabin features bolstered bucket seats and a fold-down rear bench trimmed in black leather and joined by a color-coordinated headliner, center console, door panels, and carpeting. Details include air conditioning, a Shelby shifter, a roll bar, G-Force Racing five-point harnesses, a Digital Designs amplifier and speakers, and a Pioneer CD stereo. Silver trim accents the dashboard, console, and door panels.
The wood three-spoke steering wheel has a GT500CR horn button and is mounted on a tilt column ahead of a Carroll Shelby-branded 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. An Autometer clock and oil pressure gauge are located beneath the center of the dashboard. The digital odometer shows 740 miles. True mileage is unknown.
The replacement 427ci V8 was installed by Classic Recreations under prior ownership and features a Pro-M Racing fuel injection system, an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, a Concept One serpentine drive system, MSD ignition components, and ceramic-coated headers. An 18-gallon fuel cell as well as a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans have been fitted.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a fabricated 9″ rear axle with a 3.70:1 limited-slip differential. A dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers has been installed.
A Shelby Continuation Certificate of Authenticity is included in the sale.
