The 400ci V8 was factory rated at 330 horsepower and features a turquoise-finished block as well as a polished air cleaner housing and valve covers. An HEI distributor was installed under previous ownership and a refurbished Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor was installed under current ownership. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a Saf-T-Track limited-slip rear axle with 2.56:1 ratio gears. The transmission was overhauled in 2019, and the transmission fluid was flushed in preparation for the sale.
