The body left the factory finished in LeMans Blue (71) and was stripped and underwent rust repairs before being repainted in 2019 and accented with white stripes. Rally Sport equipment has been added, which includes concealed headlights with a specific grille, chrome fender and rocker trim, turn signals mounted in the front valance, faux side vents, bright tail light trim, and reverse lights positioned beneath the rear bumper. “RS” badging is fitted to the rear panel and front grille, along with Rally Sport and 327 badging on the fenders. The body mounts were replaced during the repaint.
Silver 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with 225/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. A full-size spare is mounted in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in white vinyl upholstery and joined by color-coordinated door panels. Additional interior equipment includes a center console, horseshoe-style shifter, woodgrain trim accents, lap belts, a heater and defroster, and a Delco AM/FM radio. The headliner, left rear window crank, and the windlace in the door jambs are said to have been replaced since 2021.
The two-spoke RS steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and a tachometer. Supplementary gauges are mounted ahead of the shifter. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 88k miles, approximately 800 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci V8 features an Edelbrock intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, a polished alternator, and a braided upper coolant hose. Cooling is handled by a Champion aluminum radiator. The MacNeish Report notes that the engine pad serial number has been re-stamped.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear axle. The engine and transmission mounts are said to have been replaced under current ownership and an aftermarket dual exhaust system has been installed.
A Certificate of Authenticity from Camaro Hi-Performance LLC and Jerry MacNeish is included in the sale as well as service records and a detailed report outlining build information, factory options, and component assessments.
A spare jack, fuel tank, radiator, exhaust headers, and springs are included in the sale.
