Aftermarket 17″ U.S. Mags wheels feature silver centers and polished lips and are mounted with 235/50 Michelin Premier A/S tires. The car is equipped with power steering and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes as well as Bilstein shocks and a fiberglass transverse leaf spring out back.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in Saddle vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, a Delco AM/FM stereo, an analog clock, power windows, and lap belts. The door panels, carpets, and heater controls were reportedly replaced under current ownership. An aftermarket auxiliary audio input has been installed, and wear is seen on the center console lid.
The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilting and telescoping column and frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 46k miles, approximately 1,800 of which were added under current ownership. The gauges have been restored, and total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 427ci V8 was rebuilt and installed in 2012, and features include three two-barrel carburetors, chrome accents, a Pertronix ignition system, a K&N air filter, an aluminum radiator, ported exhaust manifolds, 2.5″ diameter exhaust piping, and a replacement wiring harness.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a rebuilt Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission and a 3.70:1 Positraction rear differential. A Hays clutch has reportedly been fitted and heat- and sound-resistant material has been applied to the underside.
