The body was reportedly removed from the frame and repainted in its current shade of orange as part of a refurbishment completed under prior ownership. Exterior features include a removable white hardtop, a white grille insert, a dual exhaust system with exits above the rear axle, and chrome bumpers, side mirrors, windshield wipers, and hood pins.
Polished 17″ Mickey Thompson eight-hole alloy wheels wear 315/70 Kumho Road Venture M/T tires. Equipment includes power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums, power steering, manually locking front hubs, and a body lift.
The cabin features high-back front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black cloth and complimented by a color-coordinated dashboard top and carpets. Additional appointments include a locking center console, a floor-mounted transfer case selector, lap belts for the front occupants, vent windows, a white roll hoop, and a Pioneer stereo receiver wired to a subwoofer mounted in the rear cargo area. The FiTech EFI control interface is mounted above the windshield.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a combination gauge with a 100-mph speedometer and readouts for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery charge. A trio of Autogage gauges mounted beneath the dashboard show oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 302ci V8 was installed as part of the refurbishment and features a FiTech electronic fuel injection system, PerTronix Flame-Thrower ignition system, a CVX alternator, an aluminum radiator, tubular exhaust headers, and finned-aluminum valve covers. The oil was changed in 2021.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional underside images are provided in the gallery.
There is currently a lien on the vehicle, and the current owner’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
