Magnum 500-style 15″ wheels are mounted with 215/65 front and 225/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The car is equipped with power steering, a front sway bar, and tubular subframe connectors. Braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood calipers over slotted and drilled rotors up front along with drums in the rear. The brake booster was repaired in May 2021. The shocks have been replaced, and the front suspension ride height has been lowered, according to the seller.
The cabin houses high-back front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl accompanied by woodgrain trim accents on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes a Classic Auto Air A/C system, a passenger-side analog clock, red floor mats, and front lap belts. An aftermarket retro-style radio features Bluetooth connectivity and is linked to an amplifier, 6″x9″ rear speakers, and a trunk-mounted JL Audio subwoofer enclosure.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 60k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added by the seller.
The 427ci small-block V8 is a Ford Performance-sourced crate engine equipped with a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock dual-plane intake manifold, aluminum “X” cylinder heads, Taylor spark plugs wires, and long-tube headers. The carburetor pump diaphragm was replaced in June 2021, while the carburetor was re-tuned in June 2022. Additional work performed under current ownership is said to include replacing the radiator, the wiring harness, and the fuel lines.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T5 five-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear end. Residue is visible around the third member. The dual exhaust system features an x-pipe and polished Magnaflow mufflers. Additional images of the underside are presented in the gallery.
