The 15” Fuchs alloy wheels were refurbished under current ownership and are mounted with 205/65 Michelin Defender T+H tires that show date codes from 2021. The car is equipped with Koni shocks and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. The suspension arms were refinished, and replacement bushings, ball joints, and wheel bearings were installed during the refurbishment. Additional work involved overhauling the brake calipers and replacing the master cylinder, pads, and brake lines.
The cabin was refreshed under current ownership and fitted with reproduction front sport seats trimmed in black leatherette along with a replacement dash pad, headliner, and carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, a heater and defroster, three-point front seat belts, rear jump seats, and a Blaupunkt push-button AM/FM radio linked to a central dash speaker.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation including an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, combination gauges, and an analog clock. Cracks are visible on the rubber portions of the dash-mounted headlight and windshield wiper knobs. The five-digit odometer shows 83k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 2.0-liter flat-six features Bosch mechanical fuel injection and was rebuilt under current ownership. Work involved overhauling the cylinder heads with replacement valves, valve guides, and springs as well as replacing the pistons, cylinders, bearings, and various seals and hardware. The engine tin, mounting bar, fan shroud, and cooling fan assembly were refinished under current ownership.
The engine-case stamping reads ☆6390751☆. Additional casting and stamping marks on the engine and transaxle are shown in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. A replacement Dansk muffler and SSI heat exchangers were installed under current ownership.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists the car’s production completion date, original colors, and factory-delivered options.
