The 14″ Super Sport wheels wear chrome trim rings with SS center caps and are mounted with reproduction FR70-series Firestone Wide Oval tires fitted in February 2023. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering and was ordered with the F41 performance suspension package featuring a thicker front sway bar, a rear sway bar, and boxed front control arms.
The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in green vinyl upholstery and is equipped with air conditioning, manual windows, a locking center console, and Chevelle-branded floor mats. Blemishes include a burn mark on the driver’s seat and scrapes on the passenger armrest, and the radio does not work.
A two-spoke SS-branded steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 76k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 402ci Turbo Jet L34 V8 features a Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Maintenance performed in preparation for the sale reportedly included the replacement of the valve cover gaskets, an oil change, a recharge of the air conditioning system, and a coolant flush.
The engine block stamping includes a CTW suffix, which aligns with the code for a 402ci L34 V8 with a four-barrel carburetor producing 350 horsepower for use with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional part casting numbers are shown in the gallery below.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction rear differential.
