The truck left the factory finished in Reef Aqua (Y) and was removed from its frame and refinished by Tim’s Paint & Body of Alamosa, Colorado under current ownership, at which time the windshield and windows were replaced. Additional equipment includes chrome bumpers, stainless-steel trim and door hinges, as well as a removable white hardtop, Bronco Sport badging, a driver-side mirror, LED headlights, tinted windows, and AMP Research power-retractable running boards with LED illumination. Many of the photos in the gallery below were taken in mid-2022.
Machined and gloss-black Dick Cepek 17″ wheels are mounted with 285/70 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The truck is equipped with a 3½” suspension lift with James Duff shocks, a Wild Horses billet aluminum 1″ body lift, and power steering. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums with stainless-steel lines, and the fluid was flushed in 2022.
The interior was refreshed under current ownership and features front bucket seats and a rear bench retrimmed in black and white upholstery. The tub was sprayed with body-color bedliner material during the refurbishment, and additional equipment includes a locking center console, black carpeting, cupholders, a dome light, a body-color roll bar, rubber floor mats, kick-panel speaker pods, and a Bluetooth-compatible Kenwood stereo.
A Lokar Lecarra steering wheel sits on an Ididit tilt steering column and fronts a Dakota Digital VHX gauge pod with a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer shows approximately 450 miles, which reflects the miles accumulated since completion of the refurbishment. True chassis mileage is unknown.
The replacement 302ci V8 from Blue Print Engines was installed under current ownership and is equipped with stainless-steel headers and an aluminum radiator. The engine bay was sprayed with body-color bedliner material during the refurbishment, and struts support the hood.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through an NP435 four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The wheel wells and underside received an application of body-color bedliner material during the refurbishment.
