The door panels and reclining Recaro bucket seats have been reupholstered in black leather with houndstooth inserts, and gray square-weave carpets are installed. The rear seat has been removed, and equipment includes a welded-in roll bar, a Tilton hanging pedal box, and lap belts for both occupants.
A MOMO Prototipo steering wheel sits ahead of a 160-mph GPS speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and a combination gauge. The digital odometer indicates approximately 1,100 miles, around 1k of which were added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six was installed during the build, and the chassis was reportedly reinforced and modified to accommodate an E30 front subframe. Equipment includes an M50 intake manifold, long-tube headers, a stainless-steel exhaust system, and an OBD1 control module. The seller notes that the belts and hoses have been replaced.
The seller notes that the transmission tunnel and rear subframe were modified to accommodate a ZF S5D 310 five-speed manual transmission and an E36 limited-slip differential with 3.23:1 gearing. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery below.
