Aftermarket 17″ Rota wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 tires sized 245/45 in front and 275/40 in the rear. A matching spare with a Hankook Ventus tire is mounted in the trunk. Bad Dog Parts frame rail stiffeners have been added along with a Silvermine Motors electric power steering kit. The suspension is fitted with CRX Racing adjustable coilovers, billet aluminum monoball front and rear control arms, a front strut tower brace, and front and rear sway bars. Braking is handled by Wilwood calipers over cross-drilled rotors controlled by a Wilwood brake proportioning valve.
The cabin is fitted with a pair of Recaro seats equipped with five-point G-Force Racing Gear harnesses. Sound deadening is applied under the replacement carpets, and additional equipment includes an Auto Power roll bar, a Vintage Air climate control system, aluminum Skillard sill plates, and a B&M short shifter with a Chevrolet shift knob as well as a dashboard cover, cup holders, and a Vintage Sound head unit mounted behind the seat. A crack is noted in the dashboard, the center console is cracking, the left dashboard vent is disconnected, the wipers don’t park automatically, and the rear defroster, reverse lights, horn, and dome light are inoperative.
A Grant steering wheel frames a 10k-rpm tachometer and a Speedhut 160-mph speedometer with an integrated fuel level gauge. Auxiliary AutoMeter gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are mounted atop the center stack. The digital odometer shows 7k miles, and the total mileage is unknown.
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 is said to have been sourced from a 2004 Pontiac GTO and is fitted using a John’s Cars Inc. installation kit. Additional equipment includes Corvette-branded coil pack covers, a K&N air filter, a Griffin radiator, a Spal electric fan, a 15.9-gallon fuel tank, a Holley fuel pump, and ceramic-coated headers routed to a fabricated 3″ exhaust system and MagnaFlow mufflers.
