The car has worn multiple liveries that are shown in historical photos provided in the gallery, and work under current ownership included fitting BRE-style fiberglass fenders before repainting the body in white with decals in the style of its original racing livery. The headlights have been removed, and other exterior equipment includes a BRE-style front air dam, silver-finished bumpers, polycarbonate rear windows, and hood and trunk hold-down pins.
Silver-finished 13″ Panasport Z wheels with bright lips wear 205/60 Hoosier SRF tires that feature Goodyear white-letter stickers. Stopping power is provided by cross-drilled and slotted discs with multi-piston calipers up front and finned drums out back. The suspension is modified with QA1 double-adjustable dampers with height-adjustable coilover springs up front as well as weight jackers out back. A spare set of four Panasport wheels with Toyo Proxes R888R tires will accompany the car.
The cabin is stripped and fitted with a roll cage as well as a Sparco Circuit GRP racing seat with a G-Force Pro Series five-point harness. Additional equipment includes a fire suppression system, a left window net, and a Tilton brake bias adjustment. Commemorative plaques are affixed to the dashboard.
The three-spoke Grant steering wheel is mounted on a quick-release hub and fronts a fabricated dashboard that houses an AutoMeter 10k-rpm tachometer, Stewart Warner auxiliary gauges, and a red shift light. The car was not equipped with an odometer, and total mileage is unknown.
The 1.8-liter L18 inline-four is fed by twin Mikuni 50mm carburetors and equipped with an external oil cooler, a remote oil filter, an ATL 15-gallon fuel cell, dual fuel pumps, and dual MSD 6AL ignition boxes mounted in the cockpit. The engine was modified and rebuilt in June 2010 by Rebello Racing of Antioch, California, in preparation for the 2010 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Work included porting and polishing the head, a valve job, grinding the crankshaft, balancing the engine, and installation of the following:
The seller estimates that the engine has been operated for 20 hours since the 2010 rebuild and states that service in November 2022 included a valve adjustment fluids and fluids service.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Nissan “Option 2” dog-leg five-speed manual transmission, an OS Giken limited-slip differential with a 4.38:1 gearing, and retrofitted CV axles.
Multiple logbooks from SCCA, VARA, and HMSA sanctioning bodies are included in the sale, along with early images of the car and a competition summary. Notable victories are said to have included winning the 1993 Meadowbrook Historics, the 1994 Mid-Ohio Summer Madness, and the 1993 and 1994 GT-4 Championships at Waterford Hills of Clarkston, Michigan.
