Beginning in 2017, the body was stripped to bare metal and repaired by Autobeitserij Holland B.V. before being repainted in the current shade of Giallo Modena. Exterior details include pop-up headlights, fog lights, European-spec bumpers, a vented engine cover, a louvered front hood, and quad exhaust outlets. The seller notes two points of rust on the rear bumper and abrasions on the side aluminum window frames, sill plates, and rain gutters.
The 14″ alloy wheels feature Dino center caps and are mounted with 205/70 General Altimax RT43 tires, while a compact spare is stored in the front trunk. The suspension has been overhauled with Koni Classic shocks, replacement springs, bushings, and hardware. Stopping power is handled by disc brakes at all four corners.
The 2+2 cabin features front seats retrimmed in black cloth along with color-coordinated door panels and carpeting. Equipment includes power windows, front and rear three-point seatbelts, and a gated shifter. In March 2023, the passenger door was dissembled and the window mechanism was repaired and adjusted. The seller notes the glove box light bulb is removed, and the head unit is not connected. Replacement carpeting material in factory specification for the trunk sourced from HVL Interiors will be included in the sale.
The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel features a Dino horn button and fronts a 280-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,750-rpm redline, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and oil temperature. The odometer has been reset and now shows approximately 4,400 kilometers (~2,700 miles). The total chassis mileage is unknown.
The transversely mounted 2,927cc V8 features an aluminum block and cylinder heads, dual overhead camshafts, and quad Weber twin-choke carburetors. The engine was removed and the carburetors were rebuilt by Autobeitserij Holland, the wiring harness was also replaced, and an ANSA rear muffler was added. A PerTronix electronic ignition system was installed in 2022, and factory-style spark plug wires were fitted in 2023. In March 2023, the carburetors were adjusted, the ignition was tuned, and a fluid service was performed.
The five-speed manual transaxle was also removed and refreshed, and additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
A copy of the Ferrari Classiche vehicle production data sheet lists the original colors, component numbers, and delivery to S.A. Garage Francorchamps in Brussels, Belgium in May 1974.
A tool kit is included in the sale, along with owner’s manuals, literature, Dutch restoration and service records, and seat covers.
Photos from the restoration process are also available in the gallery.
