Bright-finished 15″ slotted wheels wear 31×10.50″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, while a matching spare is mounted behind the rear seats. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. Additional work performed as part of the aforementioned refurbishment is said to have included overhauling the braking system as well as installing a Toms Offroad 2.5″ lift kit as well as a Borgeson power-steering box.
The front bucket seats and the rear bench seat are trimmed in white upholstery with color-coordinated door panel inserts. The seller states that the floors have been coated using LizardSkins spray-on insulation. Appointments include a white-finished four-point roll bar, black rubber floor covering, a heater and defroster, a central locking storage compartment, front lap belts, hand-crank side windows, and a retro-style head unit.
The black two-spoke steering wheel fronts a Classic Instruments combination 140-mph speedometer with an inset tachometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer indicates 382 miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 302ci V8 is said to have been overhauled and modified to displace 306ci. Additional modifications reportedly include GT40-style cylinder heads, an aftermarket camshaft, Holley Sniper fuel injection, tubular headers, a dual exhaust system, ribbed aluminum valve covers, and an aluminum radiator.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, a Dana 44 front axle with a limited-slip differential and 4.10:1 gears, and a Ford 9″ rear end with a limited-slip differential and 4.11:1 gears. Aftermarket axles and driveshafts are said to have been fitted as part of the refurbishment, and both the front and rear differentials were reportedly overhauled under current ownership.
Photos documenting various stages of the refurbishment work can be viewed in the gallery.
