The truck was disassembled and refinished in 2016 under prior ownership. The fenders have been cut, and the frame has been painted black. Exterior features include a removable hardtop, a receiver hitch, KC auxiliary lights with cages, wheel arch flares, adjustable side mirrors, an aftermarket front bumper with an integrated skid plate, an aftermarket rear bumper, and black-finished trim and badging. Bedliner material has been applied to the lower portions of the body. Gaps are noted along the doors, and photos included in the gallery show finish imperfections, cracks along the lower-left corner of the windshield frame, and a hole atop the left quarter panel.
Black-finished 17″ Method wheels are mounted 33×12.5″ General Grabber X3 tires that show 2016 date codes. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums. The seller indicates the lifted suspension is equipped with Bilstein components, and additional equipment includes a steering stabilizer and Warn manually lockable front hubs.
The front bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl with blue stripes, and the cabin features a roll bar, an aftermarket center console with integrated cupholders, a Pioneer CD stereo, and a heater. A shift indicator has been installed for the replacement automatic transmission, and the Vintage Air air conditioning was serviced in August 2023.
Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 37k miles, approximately 2,500 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 302ci V8 was reportedly rebuilt in 2014. Equipment includes a chrome Edelbrock air cleaner, an Edelbrock E-Street electronic fuel-injection system, an aluminum radiator, chrome valve covers, and a MagnaFlow dual exhaust system. Bedliner material has been applied to the engine bay. The oil pan gasket and thermostat gasket were replaced in December 2019, and the battery and voltage regulator were replaced in August 2023.
The C4 three-speed automatic transmission was rebuilt and installed by Clint’s Transmissions in May 2014 in place of the factory manual unit, and replacement gaskets and seals were subsequently fitted to the transmission and dual-range transfer case in December 2019.
The Deluxe Marti report lists a build date of March 22, 1974, along with factory options, colors, and production information.
