The seller notes that the car was refinished in Porsche-sourced Slate Grey under prior ownership, and equipment installed following the seller’s acquisition includes xenon headlights, RSR-style bumpers, LED exterior lighting, and a fabricated rear decklid grille. Additional features include a sunroof, wide-body fender flares, and black Porsche lower-body graphics. There is a paint bubble on the right-rear C-pillar, and exterior blemishes are shown in the gallery below.
Staggered-width 17″ Rotiform multi-piece wheels are mounted with 255/40 front and 315/35 rear Nitto NT555 G2 tires. Stopping power is provided by a Rebel Racing RSR big brake kit that consists of red-finished Brembo calipers over cross-drilled rotors along with braided stainless-steel brake lines at all four corners. The suspension was overhauled under current ownership by installing the following components sourced from Elephant Racing:
Additional work includes powder-coating the front struts black, lowering the ride height, and corner-balancing the car, per the seller.
Refurbishment work is said to include applying POR-15 to the floorboards before installing sound-deadening material and replacement RS-style carpeting. Fixed-back GTS Classic seats are trimmed in elephant-hide-style red leather and joined by color-matching RS-style door panels with black pull straps. Equipment includes Crow Enterprizes four-point harnesses with a harness bar, seat-mounted cup holders, and power windows as well as a WEVO shifter and precision shift joint. The shift knob and E-brake handle are said to be constructed out of recycled skateboard decks. The seller notes that the heating system is not connected.
A microsuede-wrapped Momo steering wheel featuring an embossed Porsche crest fronts a central tachometer, a 170-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The seller notes that the air/fuel readout is not wired. The six-digit odometer shows 79k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 3.2L flat-six was installed under prior ownership. The top end was rebuilt in 2022 by Joe’s Garage of Glendale, Wisconsin, by surfacing the heads, performing a valve job, replacing the rod bearings, and installing ARP head studs. Additional components replaced during the engine work include:
A Patrick Motorsports lightweight flywheel was also installed. The seller notes that the engine is equipped with WEVO semi-solid engine mounts, a modified throttle body, and a MAF conversion kit from Sal Carceller that includes a mass airflow sensor, an open-element air filter, higher capacity fuel injectors, and a revised ECU tune.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 915 five-speed manual transaxle. An undercoating was applied in 2018, while work performed in 2022 is said to include replacing the synchros and shift bushings in addition to resealing the transmission. A modified Rennline front skid plate protects the underside, and a TT Exhaust GT3-style muffler is fitted, according to the seller.
