Staggered-width 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels measure 7″ wide up front and 8″ wide out back, and they are mounted with 225/50 front and 245/45 rear Toyo Proxes RA1 tires that were installed in July 2023. A space-saver spare is mounted in the front trunk. The right-rear sway bar bushing was replaced in 2023. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel ventilated discs.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Dark Green leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Black carpets line the floors, and the front seats feature Black Watch Tartan cloth inserts. Additional equipment includes folding rear seats with driver-side seatback Turbo embroidery as well as power windows, air conditioning, and a CD stereo.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer with an inset boost pressure gauge and a tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline, as well as an analog clock and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The tachometer was repaired in May 2023. The six-digit odometer shows 42k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under the seller’s ownership.
The turbocharged 930/53 3.0-liter flat-six was factory rated at 245 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque, and an overhaul of the top end was reportedly performed at 39k miles in 2009. Service carried out in 2023 involved rebuilding the distributor, changing the oil, and replacing the ignition CD box, spark plugs, ignition wires, oil lines, oil thermostat, oil-level sending unit, and left valve cover gasket. Results from compression and leakdown tests performed in June 2023 can be seen in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. A replacement clutch was installed in June 2023, and the flywheel was resurfaced. The fuel accumulator and a fuel line were also replaced.
The Porsche Production Specifications Certificate shows a completion date of February 1977 and lists factory colors and equipment.
