Polished 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 33×10.5″ BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM2 tires. The truck is equipped with power steering and manually locking front hubs. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs up front and drums at the rear. Modifications to the suspension are said to include a 4″ inch lift kit with Deaver coil and leaf springs in addition to dual shocks on the front axle.
The cabin features front captain’s chairs and a rear bench that were reupholstered in black vinyl during the refurbishment. Additional work included applying sound-deadening material to the floors and replacing the dash pad, headliner, door panels, sun visors, and interior trim pieces. Equipment includes air conditioning, a center console, manual crank windows, a Ford-branded CB radio, and a push-button AM/FM stereo.
A replacement woodgrain bezel frames an 85-mph speedometer along with gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, amperage, and coolant temperature. Scuffs in the instrument lens are shown in the gallery below. The five-digit odometer shows 49k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current family ownership.
The 351ci V8 is equipped with a Demon carburetor and an Optima Red Top battery. Work performed since 2016 is said to include re-surfacing the cylinder heads, performing a valve job, and resealing the engine in addition to replacing the radiator, alternator, intake manifold, fuel pump, drive belts, and head gaskets.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed C6 automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip rear differential with 3.50:1 gearing.
