Multi-piece 18″ Speedline-style wheels were mounted in preparation for the sale and wear Nitto NT01 competition tires measuring 235/40 in front and 305/35 out back. Stopping power is provided by red-finished Brembo multi-piston calipers over cross-drilled rotors, and the brake master cylinder was replaced in May 2023. The car rides on a lowered suspension featuring Bilstein B6 dampers that were installed in April 2023.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in tan leather that extends to the top of the dashboard and doors. The center console has been removed, and the carpet set and speakers were replaced in 2023. Appointments include air conditioning, a Rennline pedal set, power-operated windows, a Blaupunkt Skagen stereo, and a Numeric short shifter with a custom wood shift ball.
The MOMO three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 150-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for fuel level and oil level, temperature, and pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 84k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.0-liter flat-six is said to have been overhauled in 2008 and fitted with Web Cam camshafts, MSD ignition components, and Bosch fuel injection. A valve adjustment was performed and the battery, fuel pump, oil pressure switch, and spark plugs were replaced in 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The transaxle was rebuilt and the clutch kit was replaced in March 2022. A Billy Boat exhaust system and SSI heat exchangers are installed along with a lightweight flywheel, and the underbody was treated with dry ice in preparation for the sale.
