Halibrand-style 15″ wheels are equipped with three-eared knockoffs secured with safety wire, and they are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires measuring 255/60 up front and 275/60 out back. The car is equipped with an independent coilover suspension, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes.
The low-back bucket seats are trimmed in black and joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Appointments include latch-and-link seatbelts, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a heater, and a locking glove box.
The wood-rimmed steering frames Smiths instrumentation that consists of a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 1,300 miles, approximately 300 of which were added during current ownership.
The Ford V8 was reportedly bored from 357ci to 408ci and features a single carburetor as well as a Cobra-branded air filter and valve covers. Work under current ownership included rebuilding the carburetor and replacing the spark plugs, starter, and battery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Additional underside photos can be viewed in the gallery below.
