Additional exterior details include a hood scoop, a stainless-steel driver-side roll hoop, side-exit exhaust pipes, 427 badges, wind wings, and quick-jack bumperettes. A tonneau cover, a soft top, and side curtains are included in the sale.
Halibrand-style 15″ wheels are secured by three-eared knockoff spinners with safety wires and are mounted with 255/60 front and 295/50 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, and the car is equipped with a fully independent front and rear suspension.
The cockpit features fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in black leather with over-the-shoulder harnesses for both occupants. Equipment includes a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, a heater, a locking glove compartment, and Superformance-branded carpeted floor mats. A battery cutoff switch is located in the trunk.
Instrumentation includes a Smiths 8k-rpm tachometer, reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level as well as a Lucas ammeter. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 6k miles, approximately 200 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 402ci V8 is a Roush Racing-sourced 402R crate engine and features a forged crank, rods, and pistons as well as a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, MSD ignition, and polished Roush-branded valve covers. The fluids and spark plugs are said to have been changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. Additional underside images can be viewed in the gallery.
A Roush tag attached to the car lists engine specifications and a vehicle ID of SP02288, which matches that shown as the chassis number on the Superformance tag.
The chassis was assigned identification number NH010594 by the state of New Hampshire, which matches that shown as the VIN on the Massachusetts title accompanying the car.
